Pipeline metal loss inspection  is carried out by means of the ultrasonic multifunctional  tool KORSONIC, designed and built by CDRiA.  
 
The purpose of the pipeline metal loss inspection is to provide the operator with an  Inspection Report, which precisely documents  major defects  in the pipeline wall  (metal losses, geometry deformations, material anomalies, etc.) as well as pipeline installations.  
 
The Inspection Report  is based on evaluation of inspection data by experienced staff using the dedicated CDRiA software Korview. 

Based on the inspection results  the  Pipeline Integrity Assessment  is conducted. Crucial recommendations  regarding  pipeline safety management are made to the pipeline operator.
