| Pipeline geometry inspection is carried out by means of the inspection tool KALIBRAK, designed and built by CDRiA. The purpose of the pipeline geometry inspection is to detect and document in an Inspection Report all geometry deviations from nominal pipeline diameter. The geometry tool KALIBRAK precisely measures: - pipeline mechanical deformations (bulges, dents, wrinkles, ovalities, third party damages, hydrostatic test expansions)
- construction anomalies (diameter reduction at girth welds, non-coaxial joints)
- pipeline construction elements (pipe joints [length & dia], valves, tees and other installations, etc.)
Detailed inspection data analysis is done by CDRiA experienced staff using a dedicated CDRiA software KalView. Results of evaluation work are presented in Inspection Report. |
