| KORSONIC is an advanced technology multifunctional inline inspection tool dedicated to the comprehensive technical survey of the pipeline. The KORSONIC tool is equipped with a rigid measurement ring with ultrasonic probes. The operating principle is based on the measurement of the time-of-flight of ultrasonic signals reflected from the internal and external surfaces of the pipe wall. | The inspection tool travels through a pipeline propelled by a medium flow, measuring and recording local pipeline wall thickness and distance from the ultrasonic head to the internal wall surface (stand-off) with very high measurement resolution - both axial and circumferential. The fleet of available KORSONIC tools covers a wide range of pipeline nominal diameters. |
