Results of tank bottom inspection are documented in two kinds of reports, depending on the current survey stage: Field report (generated after each inspection day): Field reports are usually created and presented to the tank owner after each workday. It documents a progress of the tank survey by creating the Plate report sheet for every tank bottom plate measured on that day. The Plate report sheet includes: Schematic view of inspected plate, List of defects and optionally Table of UT additional measurements. The Field report may also contain other additional elements in situations when non-standard faults are found or the survey for some reasons goes beyond the planned schedule. Final report (created after the completion of tank bottom measurements): The final report is prepared in time term agreed with the tank owner. Final report gives a summary of the conducted inspection and of the tank bottom technical condition. The report includes: tank technical specifications, measurement tools specifications, survey conditions and schedule, report sheets for all plates measured, a diagram with an overall view of the tank bottom with detected faults, fault statistics, list of the most severe faults. |
